My Beginnings

I have been a film lover ever since I can remember. When I was four, I taught myself to read because I was tired of waiting for someone to read the movie section of the local newspaper to me. As I got older, my love of film grew, as did my interest in writing. It led me to become a cinema studies major at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. I have decided to use the film knowledge and writing experience I have gained to enter into the world of film review, criticism and analysis. I am interested in all kinds of film, new and old, American and foreign, regardless of genre. Film has become my passion. I decided to become a film critic to help people decide what kind of films would be enjoyable and/or interesting for them. People watch films for a variety of reasons and I hope to be able to assist you in having an enjoyable movie going experience.
