This is a tremendous, fast-paced, dramatic, exciting, sneakily passionate take on the material, that is faithful, despite some modernizations.

It is an impressive cinematic achievement.

Dunkirk is intense and exciting. Its running time absolutely flew by for me. As a war movie, it is probably the best I have seen this decade
